Tim works across a range of TV programmes and films as scientific consultant and insect wrangler. Combining a background in academic research and science communication, he advises on story and content development as well as accuracy and feasibility.
As an insect wrangler Tim specialises in applying a a lifetime of working with live animals, often in remote places, and a scientific mindset, to engineer complex behaviour in the studio and on location.
Tim is the scientific consultant for a major new series currently in production for broadcast in 2024, and is wrangling insects on location and in studio shoots for other TV shows throughout 2023. Below are some past projects he has worked on…
